At Crowwood hotel we have many different wines on offer to match everyone's palette. Each month we will be choosing a different Wine at a reduced price and have some excellent offers to go along with it! This month we have chosen Vall De Lar Tempranillo to be our wine of the month.

 

 

The Tempranillo is from Puglia, in Italy.  As many Tempranillo lovers will know, the Tempranillo is a kind of black grape which is commonly grown to make full-bodied red wines in its native Spain. 

The very name "Tempranillo" is from the Spanish "temprano" which means "early" - a reference to the fact that it ripens several weeks earlier than most Spanish red grapes.

When you are enjoying this wine our mixologist recommends our Rib Eye Steak or our Chicken and Haggis served with our Peppercorn Sauce from the kitchen. The flavours in this should sweeten the palette and accentuate the succulent Red Berry Flavour the Italian Tempranillo has.
